This small restaurant is one of the best I've been to in a long time! Located on 224 Lafayette Street (between Kenmare Pl. and Cleveland Pl.) this Mediterranean Style restaurant serves the most delicious food with the perk of it not being too expensive. I love this place and visited about a week ago with my family. It's vibrant, lively, and the service is wonderful. The outdoor seating is beautiful and I think the place is 100% worth it!

Trapeze School of New York
Okay, okay... before you skip over this post just wait! If you just looked at the title and thought, "no way!" Just let me try to convince you that this is something that ANYONE can try without risking safety. The Trapeze School of New York is located in Chelsea on the West Side Highway. It has a gorgeous view of the downtown skyline and is an outdoor trapeze school. The trainers and employees are all kind and welcoming, and are sure to make everyone confident that they can fly through the air on a trapeze with just some confidence and bravery. Reviews online suggest especially that this is the sort of thing that everyone should try to jot down on their bucket list and that the trapeze gives a huge adrenaline rush that is hard to find anywhere else... so keep your mind open, and maybe someday you'll find you really need something fun like this to get you out of a slump or to just go out and enjoy yourself!

Secrets of the City Overview
If you live in New York City, life is
a blur. The streets are hardly ever quiet, and is seems as though world is
always stuck in fast forward. There is hardly any time to sit back and witness
the happenings going on around you without translating it into madness or
chaos. With so much to offer, it is hard to miss some of the most amazing
things about The City that never Sleeps, The Empire State Building, the Statue
of Liberty, and many more incredible hotels and restaurants known throughout
the world for being the best.
However, New York City has so much
unknown beauty to share with it's inhabitants. From parks, to restaurants, to
shops and more, if we take a step back, there is so much more to our world than
meets the eye...
It seems now a days there are few
well kept secrets of the city, seeming that anything murmured in this bustling
city will appear on the front page of every magazine and newspaper distributed
throughout the tristate area the next day. But, there are surely some things
that the world may not know well of that could brighten a day or two.
Purpose:
Through this blog, Secrets of the
City, I am hoping I can find and talk about some of the most incredible places
and activities to do and see in New York City, and hopefully show a side of New
York that many New Yorkers may have never even witnessed before.
What to
Expect:
Updates on the most beautiful or
amazing unknown places throughout the city, where they are, and what they have
to offer you and/or your family and friends.
About Me:
My
name is India Woolmington and I am a thirteen year old girl living in SOHO, New
York. With some of the wildest night life and shops around me, I know how
insane the city can become. My favorite stores are all within walking distance
from my apartment building, and I rarely get out and about... until summer
roles around, which is exactly why I have started this blog now.
I
love to discover new places and try new things any where I go, but in New York,
there is so much opportunity for amazement, I knew that I had to share any of
my findings with you all somehow, and I sincerely hope that everyone likes the
ideas I will post in the future on where exactly to find this and that.
I am very very grateful for any comments
on what you guys liked and didn't like regarding my posts and please leave
suggestions for future investigation such as, "where is the best place to
eat outdoors in Brooklyn," or "what is a good Sunday activity to keep
me busy"
I am more than happy to answer any
questions you might have about me or my blog so the more you comment the
better!
FOLLOWERS ARE MUCH APPRECIATED! It
would mean a lot to me if you all took interest in what I am trying to do and
wanted to be a part of it!!! I am open to any constructive criticism about
format or ratings on the places I suggest...
Thank you all so so much for stopping by and don't forget
to come back!!
